The Baba, The Dada and The Hunk of Bollywood together

Watching Salman on Dus Ka Dum has been a real fun. It brings immensely speculated side of the Salman's personality, interaction at the core level, the lowest level, a raw manly attitude without any adulteration, no polishing at all. Anyway, here is the most indulging episode, the most engaging and wonderfull episode of 10 ka dum. Sanjay Dutt urf The Baba, Jackie Shroff urf The Dada, and Salman urf the hunk or the bhai, it is so much glamorous episode. More becuse when these three are on the set, it brought air of immense muscles. So much musculine, that even I am looking for a right word to put it more clearly on this post. It all looked like an espisode that can be termed as a "Dil Se" episode because all of them are downright few feets below the ground, mind blowing roller coaster. Looking at Jaggu Dada's cool Bhai' style and Sanjay Dutts humility and Salman's *** Em style, I could not stop watching twice in a single run. Show ho to aisa!

VP8 and H264

Just some time ago, I got to know about the kingpin algorithm that rules the video compression. H 264, by far, is the most exciting algorithm that happened to video regime. And till now, I used to believe there is only one way future of video compression. I am not impressed by VC1 or WMV and I dont see their potential as a competitor of H264. I was so much impressed with H264 and AAC that I decided to encode almost all my videos in H264 and AAC, but unfortunately I could not get AAC encoder so I had to do with H264 and mp3 (lame is boon). Till now, I have a very distinct impression about H264 and that is one of a "Kingpin", something that is unbreakable. I just was curious about Google taking over On2 and its VP7 and VP8 algorithms, while I dont know their internals (I dont aim too), I thought this is perfectly fits into the concept "Evolution". Looking at the performance of VP8 over H264, I am so much excited. If what they suggest is true in practice, then probably we can be sure that we are going to move forward in video compression. I believe strongly that VP8 and future of On2 codecs is going to be open source. The reason, is that H264 is open source, we dont want VP8 to loose just because its proprietory (like VC1). And obviously, if VP8 becomes open source, almost all other proprietory codecs would loose miserably, reasoin is H264 is backed up by almost all major industry leaders and it has penetrated in almost all digital markets. And, when Google is backing up On2 and its open source development (analogous to Chrome competing with Firefox and IE), its going to become a de facto standard on web (for user generated content), because of youtube primarily. Anyway, I really feel that VP8 is embarking on a hefty competition and it also validates the H265 development. I always doubted the actual force of H265 development, but now looking at VP8's really juicy results, I think H265 needs to be mission critical, more because Google is driven by constant innovation, and no wonder VP8 becomes next generation open google codec and rule the world like H264 is ruling as of now. Peace...
