Fairy Professors of IIITA
With so much confusing, perplexed situations, under lot much problems, to find the solutions, whenever i met them, I experienced magic. The magic is that you just start discussing problems with them, you will find everything alright, the problems are no more and you will get solutions automatically. Their attitude is tremendous. Besides they are approachable. I have seen moments where i went for asking help to some professor, and he refused with the argument that he is busy. But this never happened with these fairy personalities although they are also busy with much work.
World of problems, becomes world of solutions once they enter into your world. Sometimes I think of them as fairy or jini professors. They have magical research attitude, its my first hand experience.
I met Dr. DPM
I defended my thesis in presence of him as external examiner. Again I had a chance to meet him personally cuz he stayed that night at IIIT. I had a little discussion about my performance on the thesis and other things. Though he was looking tough (knowledge wise), the attitude he carried was just incredible.
He was so cool. He could have crossed anywhere whilst defending thesis, but he never did cross me. He always tried to understand my work. His way of conducting exam was just awesome.
Sometimes I think, even if we discard his magnificent profile, his attitude alone is enough to justify his wisdom. Great persons does not require reasons to be great.

Alexander & Archilles - My favourite
But the remarkable difference among them was that Achilles was moved with vengeance. He never had a dream to go for wining the globe, although each of his victory were marvelous. Alexander on the other hand had a dream to conquer whole world. He was never moved by any emotions throughout his glorious consistent victories.
What was the chemistry between them? It is not funny that both are the greatest military genius of all times. Both died young after short glorious life. There must be something which relates them.
The answer may be partially decoded from the following findings. Alexander always had a copy of the Iliad wherever he traveled and Achilles was his role model - referring back to Achilles and the Iliad throughout everyday conversation. One of Alexander's more famous references to the Iliad was whilst talking to Aristotle he once said "When Achilles chose between a long life of obscurity and a short one of glory, he chose glory. Achilles died young". Ironically enough Alexander also had a short life full of glory dying young like his idol Achilles.
It’s very interesting to see that what they did was extremely challenging and demanding high energy and zeal, from the point of materialistic view, they both were the looser to die early. But from the point of spiritual view, they died young but with glory, and that’s why they are still young and immortal in everyone’s heart.
I am Sam
Just yesterday i saw a passionate movie "I am Sam". The plot is character bound, emotionally loaded, sentimental. It's shot with chaotic real world as background where there is no value of values. In the race of changing world, human altered values also.
The roles are much stronger, Sam is mentally retarded and Lucy is little kid. Sam does not have altered values due to the fact that he is stupid. Neither Lucy cuz she is just a kid. What they offered in the role, is unadulterated values like love, care, and nothing else.
Starting is fantastic with Beatles and happy Sam with his little work at his workplace. Everything seems colorful.
Sam has nothing to do with anyone but Lucy. Even the lady, was awestruck and she collapsed her conspiracy when she realized the absolute bond between the stupid father and little kid. Earlier she had a plan to stepdaughter Lucy using the fact that Sam is stupid. Even she found Lucy complementary to Sam. I think that is shot in a scene which is so much passionate to show the fact the bond they carried beats the conventional mother-child bondage (generally though to be ultimate one). The relation among them is less definable; the word father-daughter is not enough to describe the chemistry. That's what makes the movie worth watch able 100 times.
As Sam is not able to ask for his rights on Lucy, Lucy had to advocate him and that makes it more emotional screen play when she meets with Sam in a monitored room, where the points were recorded about the conversation between Lucy and Sam, she shows her awareness about conspiracy to stepdaughter her, by telling the supervisors to take the note of how passionate Sam is about her and vice-versa.
The lawyer has all the vices of the world just cuz her profession demands that. Sam's stupid but he has unaltered values like love and care, and sometimes he unknowingly (and stupidly) hugs her in her gruesome moments, that shows incredible value of feeling discomfort while just seeing someone in trouble.
Besides the movies aint a fantasy, it's much real story, mostly character bounded. The requirements of role never allowed shooting the movie with anything fanatic. What a stupid person role would bring to the movie? Or what a little kid role would make difference to the screenplay?
The crux of the story is less tangible and more profound. But I am sure the watcher of the movie would definitely agree to the below given comments.
After seeing the movie, sometimes i bewilder, the relationships we've got through blood, is not definable.
Besides, the notion of care is what makes relationship exist in the real world. Any relationship does not have key ingredient 'care', most possibly it's the mistake to define it as relationship in the first place.
