Sir Don Bradman had a comment like see this little guy Sachin looks like himself and had a similar batting technique. I personally cherish sometimes Sachin while thinking of Ghalib and Meer vis a vis Sachin and Don Bradman. Who is genius? Nobody knows. Sachin always have a reference of cricketing genius Don Bradman in his pocket and I want Sachin to carry Don Bradman biography while he conquers cricketing world in the same way as Alexander conquered the know world of his time while keeping Achilles reference (Illiad)... Its not going to be like that.. but how fantasizing is that to visualize Saching appreciating and respecing Don in the above mentioned ways. In a way Don Bradman is next to nobody and Sachin is also next to nobody. How this can happen? Think of Sachin as a second incarnation cricketing god.. sounds pompous...!!! Don was the first incarnation of cricketing God.. Sachin is current incarnation of cricketing God. He is pride of nation as well as pride of cricketing world. I would say if hollywood or bollywood needs a cracking biography which is extraordinarily critically acclaimed... even more acclaimed than Citizen Kane (1942).. here is the subject.. Sachin Tendulkar. Just to visualize (as a research fellow) I must say, after say 100 years from now when we have cricket world cup in olympic games, Sachin is going to be revered almost like cricketing God.. not joking.. In fact there has been a research concluding that after decades together, Mahatma Gandhi will be revered almost like a God reason being he taught us Truth and Non-violence and he was there in the modern times where its almost impossible for an individual to impact society with such values and stun the world by his incredible actions.
