Roadside Romeo, Yash Raj hits milestone

Yash Raj Films is about to set a milestone in Bollywood. Walt Disney is one of the very powerful opponent to the masterful Pixar. Perhaps India is way bigger market for Animated films too, and thats why Disney took a very sound decision to step into Bollywood and collaborate with Indian no 1 production studio - Yash Raj Production house. Definately its going to be a transformation in entertainment space. First look at Roadside Romeo is exxxxciting. In long term, Pixar has to now think of breaking into Bollywood by any means. Roadside Romeo is set to be hit, without doubt, indian public would embrace it as a family entertainment and thats why its going to be record breaking launch. Btw the dog is superb and when its Saif, its going to be so much great, cuz Saif can be idiotic, it suits him. What I dream is, by chance, if the flick turns out to be Bollywood casanova, I would like to die watching it lot of times and the title suggest something suspicious like that too... chill.. its going to be family entertainment.

A R Rehman vs Beatles/Presley

Lets talk about scoring music... The beatles is a history, Crosby, Presley, Sinatra are no more, there is no way they can create magic now. Michael Jackson started in 1967 and he is going to deliver. AC/DC started in 1973 and they are going to deliver too.. So far only two mucis artists who are active and hitting beautiful scores. Here comes into picture Indian legendary A R Rehman. He is in music industry since 1992. Almost a gap of at least 20 years from the AC/DC and Michael Jackson. This simply means Rehman has 20 years more to stay active in the music industry as compared to the others ahead of him. I am talking about record sales. My claim is simple, AR Rehman is going to be world no 1 selling music artist. A R Rehman has to chase more than 1 billion record sale (The Beatles). This is much obvious because whoever knows The Beatles, they regard them as the god of music, even in their era, beatles themselves were living like pop literally. The beatles were/are the ultimatum of music. A R Rehman sales are in hundreds of millions, beatles are in thousand of millions. But its quite possible to chase The Beatles for A R Rehman, reason being... India is Billion people nation, Rehman has magnificent market and of course he has lot of time to chase.. .hell lot of time... 30-40 years, considering this, its obviously achievable for Rehman to chase beatles in terms of record sales. Certainly the race is among AC/DC, Michael Jackson and A R Rehman for the time being, but down the line.. after 10-15 years nobody is there... amen.... Rehman rocks then.. he is the living legend there after. This is the rise of Rehman phase, where under the skin... he is on his way to rank himself in the same category as that of Beatles and Presley.

Amitabh Bachchan as Bruce Almighty

Looking forward to God Tussi Great Ho. Especially, when I have already seen Bruce Almighty lot of times, and its apparently very clear that GTGH is Bollywood adaptation of Bruce Almighty, I would like to weight Amitabh with Morgan Freeman and Salman with Jim Carrey. I did not like Morgan Freeman much cuz he is black and when he is in white background with white clothes, it looks little misplaced, but when I see white background, white clothes, white beard, and Amitabh Bachhan it looks perfect, he is most suitable as far as Almighty in Bollywood. There is no way, salman can deliver the way Jim Carrey did, so no question of overall comparision. The movie should be surprising and exciting to Indian movie goers, since 90% of the public do not watch Hollywood flicks and so no question of equations with Bruce Almighty. I personally am not at all excited about the film, but yes, I would love to watch Amitabh in God's role, this is going to be somewhat different, and of course, I would look for other twists and changes and surprises.

Vantage Point

Vantage Point is very good from the "Analyzing" piont of view. I have seen few movies where subject is puzzled in cubes of death or similar kind of psychotic. This movie is also kind of puzzling, and gives lucrative opportunity to think at every moment. One of the creative thingy I noticed, is when you see this movie with idea to get something beautiful out of it, then you get it quite clearly that eveyone's point of view is very different and every view gives very confusing mixture of truth and unreal perception, thats where judgment comes into picture. Perhaps thats why in Law and Justice, its considered very important to prevent any injustice to the innocent, they say if 100 criminals are not punished, its fine, but if one innocent is punished its worse than leaving 100 criminals free in the society. Certainly nobody finds this little thingy evident from the movie, but watch it carefully, I got it very clean and clear. Apart from that Zurer is just amazing, I equate her as Aishwarya of Tel Aviv, in lofer terms Israeli maal. Dennis Quiad fits the role quite well.

Genelia and Imran creates sensation

Genelia also steps into Bollywood in the same way as others did... switching from Tollywood to Hollywood. I am surprised because it was tough for Shriya to make such transition despite of her number of attempts, but its not working out, earlier I thought he talent would fetch her promising career in Bollywood, and after Shivaji it was evident that she is the one to be most eligible to join Bollywood party, but it was little disappointing. In case of Genelia, she does not need luck, she has already arrived in Bollywood. So chill, Genelia is going to be there for a long and she proves that with Jaane Tu release. Genelia and Imran enters into Bollywood with hell of a bang.

Aamir changed gears in "Production"

Imran Khan looks very talented. I cant believe this, after watching Jaane Tu Yaa jaane na, I thought I should watch it bits and pieces again, and I did that. This time it was looking more aesthetic. The role played by imran khan is little bit more aesthetic. And one more thing, that I noticed in the movie is a good message, of being innocuous and not confirming to idea of tit for tat, in stead channelizing all the energy towards calmness and stability and becoming a gentleman. "Pappu cant dance" and that one of "Aditi" are just lovely songs, very mastrful. An unusual impression that I carry from the performance of Imran in the movie is.. He is portrayed innocuous cutie. Jignesh connects the movie extermely well with Gujju audience. And of course, the idea of "Ratz" and "Miau", sure shot chemistry building tech, is working well. As they say, again, Imran is implausible. And Aamir Khan becomes a successful producer too, as I believe truly Aamir is legend, he is proving himself, the cinema genius.

Jaane tu yaa jaane na is set to be a hit this summer. Imran Khan is just superb cuz he fits to the role extremely well. Genelia is so much charming and bubbly. All in all, a very entertaining movie and a new way of storytelling.

The new James Dean

Critics equate the situation when James Dean passed away and left unforgettable impressions, with the current performance of Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight and its massive impression on the movie goers given that the movie is posthumous release for the legend. Truly he (Heath ledger) went out with a hell of a bang. I am just waiting for axxo to furnish my request for this movie and may be its possible that I dont wait much I would go out and get myself a ticket for this one though I almost always watch hollywood flicks with my noise canceling ear buds and 16:10 lappy screen.

The most awaited film releasing tomorrow, The Dark Knight. I am not looking for Christian Bale and the Batman character. I am not being ruthless at all. The Ultimate Joker, thats what I am looking for. Critics already rate the flick very highly. Before the official release tomorrow, the critics rate it at 9.7 (4591 votes), this is something unusual that I have seen in Hollywood history. The psychotic Joker is looking spectacular in the movie. The biggest attraction of the movie is nothing else but The Joker, I am talking about Heath Ledger, oh sorry the legendary Heath Ledger. Perhaps the performance of Heath Ledger in Batman The Dark Knight, would determine his own class and it has already drawn boundaries. I really am confused for what should be most suitable annotation of the Movie... for me it is exclusively the introduction to the unusually superb psychotic Joker who is the main attraction of the movie. I wish, after watching The Dark Knight, I agree with the Oscar jury to confer Oscar for best villian of 2008 to the heart throb Heath Ledger, not for because he is not here but for his performance as The Joker and for the simple fact that we are experiencing the magnificent performance from Heath Ledger which might be considered as his personal peak performance and at the same time we miss him very much. He is not here to entertain us, just few months after his career was about to be sky rocketting. I confer my oscar to Heath Ledger for year 2008 for achieving breakthrough in depicting psychotic Joker.
