TDK is not Titanic.. no question of any comparision

Truly as people says, Titanic was once in a lifetime, and I don’t think we’ll ever have another gross like that in the history of the industry Of course, if there is one, every producer wants it. As a matter of fact, the smashing boxoffice run of The Dark Knight, left everybody surprised, and then in few days it was drawing parallels to The mammoth Titanic in terms of box office collections. It seems tsunami is over, TDK dropped to 2nd place at the box office and its predicted to collect 600 million over all. I dont know the earnings include international revenue or not, I guess its not released all over. TDK is no kids movie, it PG rated. Titanic was movie for all. And above all, Titanic maintained 1st place throughout 15 weeks which is next to a miracle, such a blockbuster of all time Titanic is next to nothing and will be next to nothing. Though The Dark Knight is impressive, I personally do not rank it in the same category of Titanic.

Gave a second thought to Bachna ae Haseeno.. Yes, its worth watchable TWICE. No kidding. Maneesha is absolutely cute and Ranbir is KILLER.

Raj -The Modern Bollywood Casanova

Sawariya has been like prelims for Ranbir Raj. Bachna ae Haseeeno looks like a true debut for him. Simran, DDLJ, Microsoft, Halo 3... I could not believe that all these stuff is knit in the movie. The movie is actually what its meant to be, much like Bollywood casanova referencing all the Harami (female protagonist) stuff and in the end, realization of the subtle nature of love. It was quite entertaining because it has very lucid references to DDLJ and of course the software engineers and Microsoft fans as well as Halo 3 fans relates to the Raj character almost instantaniously. Raj is freaky, careless, protagonist, carefree and lively party-creature. Ranbir looks cute all the way. he had an opportunity to show his fitness for a love-story and its 10 out of 10 given that its his first full fledged big budget moive with a central character. In fact, for a new comer, a flick like this, is a big responsibility, and he has done it quite convincingly. Manesha Lamba is awsome, for being so much bubbly. Other than that Bips and Dips are just okay, not much of a charm. Manisha Lamba just outperforms, and it makes the first half really lovely. Moive is not just average one for sure. Must for anybody remotely been in love ever. As the final l words, truly, as Karan says, "Star" is written all over Ranbir.
